Applications are invited for the SBBS Research Scholarships 2024 for a structured Ph.D. project focusing on inhibiting oncogenic RAF and RAS signaling through disrupting protein-protein complexes. The project is led by Dr. Jens Rauch at Systems Biology Ireland, University College Dublin.

Eligibility/Qualification – BSc or MSc in biomolecular, biomedical sciences, or pharmacology with First Honours

– Experimental experience in molecular cell biology, biochemistry, or pharmacology using cancer cell line models
– Basic knowledge of drug development or Zebrafish models is advantageous
– Highly motivated with excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in an interdisciplinary research environment

– In vivo testing of lead compounds using advanced Zebrafish models
