LATEST UPDATE: IAUE extends post UTME/DE screening exercise, 2024/2025
This is to inform all UTME/Direct Entry candidates that Ignatius Ajuru University of Education has extended the deadline for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Registration Exercise which commenced on Monday, July 29, 2024. The exercise will now close on Saturday, 31 August, 2024. Online screening is scheduled to commence on Monday, 26 August, 2024. Candidates seeking admission into the University who have not registered for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME/DE exercise are hereby advised to do so before the expiration of the deadline of Saturday, 31 August, 2024. The registration fee is N2, 000.00 only. Modalities and details for screening will be available soon on the University website and the general public will be duly informed.

- Ignatius Ajuru University of Education began as the Advanced Teachers’ Training College in 1971 under Dr. William Maxwell Jnr., a USAID representative.
- It aimed to address the shortage of trained teachers after the 1970 civil war.
- Upgraded to Rivers State College of Education in 1975, with Mr. Emmanuel Aguma as the first Provost.
- The first graduation took place in 1978 with 462 students receiving the Nigeria Certificate in Education.

How to Apply for IAUE Post UTME Form
- Visit the University Website
- Navigate to the ADMISSION Menu and click “2024/2025 UTME/DE Screening.”
- Click “Register for 2024/2025 Session UTME Screening” on the page that appears.
- Enter your JAMB Reg. No. and Click Register.
- If you are a FIRST CHOICE candidate:
- Confirm the details that appear.
- Enter your Phone No and E-mail & click on submit.
- An SMS and E-mail with your login details will be sent to you.
- If you are NOT a FIRST CHOICE candidate:
- Click on the UTME Registration button and fill out the form completely.
- An SMS and E-mail with your login details will be sent to you.
- Change your institution to Ignatius Ajuru University of Education from the JAMB Portal.
- Click Login and enter your username and the password sent to your email/phone.
- Change your password when prompted and save.
- Click on Pay Screening Fees from the left menu.
- Click on Pay for UTME Registration button and Generate Invoice.
- Confirm your Invoice and Proceed to Pay. Print your invoice.
- Pay with ATM Card or proceed to Bank with your Invoice to pay.
- After payment, click on Update Personal Data from the left menu. Update ALL FIELDS on your registration form and submit.
- Print your Registration Slip and log out.
- Collect the result verification form from the admissions office after online registration
