Registration Period:
Registration starts from 11th September 2024 and ends on 4th October 2024. The registration hours are from 8:00 am daily.
Registration Venue:
All registration will take place at the College Main Campus in Ikot Ekpene.
Qualification Criteria
To be eligible for the ND/HND Nursing Programme at Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences, candidates must meet the following qualifications.
- Candidates must have WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB certificates with credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Mathematics.
- Candidates must complete these qualifications in no more than two sittings.
- Note that NABTEB results cannot be combined with other certificates.
Registration Requirements
When registering, candidates must bring the following documents.
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years old or above.
- Three recent coloured passport-sized photographs.
- Certificate of Local Government of Origin.
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration.
- Change of Name document (if applicable).
- Original and two photocopies of each educational certificate (FSLC, WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB).
Fee Payment Details
Qualified candidates must make payments before proceeding to the Main Campus for registration.
1. Registration Fee
- Indigene Fee: N5,000.00
- Non-Indigene Fee: N7,000.00
Payment is to be made to the account name: AKSG IGR (Entrance Exams fee).
Payment can be made at Zenith Bank (Account No: 1130066690), UBA (Account No: 1019172931), or First Bank (Account No: 2028524465).
2. Processing/NMCN Fee
- Indigene Fee: N11,000.00
- Non-Indigene Fee: N17,000.00
Payment is to be made to Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences, Zenith Bank (Account No: 1310023868).
Important Notes
- This registration exercise is open to all qualified candidates, whether they participated in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or not.
- The college does not currently offer an online admission process.
- All payments made are non-refundable.
Entrance Examination
The entrance examination for qualified candidates will be held on Saturday, 12th October 2024.
