Scholarships at Griffith University Hopkins Center Australia 2024–2025 are now available to both domestic and international students. The fellowship is available for PhD programs in any of the subjects taught at Griffith University.

In order to conduct research relevant to brain injury, spinal cord injury, persistent pain, and other chronic disabling conditions, the Hopkins Centre: Research for Rehabilitation and Resilience supports applied research in an interdisciplinary research environment that brings clinicians, citizens, researchers, academics, and industry together. The Menzies Health Institute Queensland, Griffith University, and Metro South Health’s Division of Rehabilitation collaborated to create the Hopkins Center.

Eligibility Criteria:
For research fellowships leading to advanced degrees in the social sciences, health services research, health policy, and health sciences, Griffith University is looking for exceptional applicants. The most successful candidates will have a solid academic foundation and a genuine desire to advance the field of disability and rehabilitation services research and practice.
Important prerequisites:
- Academic Excellence: A proven track record of success in the social sciences, health services research, health policy, or health sciences.
- Research Focus: A track record of involvement in disability and rehabilitation services, together with a desire to help advance the fields of accessible inclusive technology, independent living environments that are enriching, employment sustainability following injuries, and rehabilitation service delivery.
- Qualifications in education: Earned a master’s degree (AQF Level 9) with a substantial research component equal to a bachelor’s honors degree, or completion (or anticipated completion) of a bachelor’s degree with first-class honors. Candidates with equivalent levels of accomplishment who satisfy Griffith University’s requirements might also be given consideration.
- Proficiency in English Language (for applicants from outside the country):
- IELTS (Academic): No band score lower than 6.0, and a minimum overall band score of 6.5
- Minimum score of 575 on the paper-based TOEFL and at least 5.0 on the TWE online test (iBT) TOEFL: No subscore lower than 19 and a minimum score of 79
