Eligible Nationalities:
- Citizenship: Nationals of one of the countries specified on the NIIED must be eligible to participate in the GKS program.
- Parental Citizenship: Nationality of the applicants’ parents (or legal guardians) must be different from Korea. Those who hold dual citizenship (Korean and another nationality) are not eligible.
- Prior Korean Citizenship: Documentation demonstrating the renunciation of prior Korean citizenship is required for applicants and their parents.

- Expected Graduation: At the time of application, applicants who plan to graduate by December 31, 2024, must present a certificate of expected graduation. By December 31, 2024, a graduation or degree certificate must be produced; else, the acceptance will be revoked.
- Provisional Graduation Certificate: Candidates will be assumed to graduate if they present their provisional certificates.

- Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA): One of the following requirements must be satisfied:
- On a scale of 100, obtain a score percentile of 80% or higher.
- Rated in the top twenty percentile of their class.
- CGPA of 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, or 3.23/5.0, or higher.
- Prior Degree Program: For those seeking an associate’s degree, high school; for those seeking a bachelor’s degree, high school or an associate’s degree.
- Absence of CGPA Data: Applicants must submit further paperwork from their school or university outlining the grading method if they do not have CGPA information or are unable to convert grades.
- Anticipated Scholars: Determine your most current cumulative GPA at the time of application.

- The minimum age requirement is under 25 years old (born after March 1, 2000).
