- Show dedication to extracurricular university activities and the community.
- Possess little to no prior education or travel experience, either within or outside of their native nation; instead, they should be mature, responsible, independent, self-assured, tolerant, open-minded, thoughtful, and curious.
- Be able and willing to engage completely in a rigorous academic curriculum, volunteer work, and educational travel
