Financial Benefits:
The University of Twente Scholarship offers the recipient the following:
- For one year, it costs between € 3,000 and € 22,000.
- In the case of a two-year study programme, students can get an additional UTS equal to that of the first year to cover the second year’s expenses. However, the scholarship will only be extended for the second year if students meet the UTS application standards.

Eligibility Criteria:
The following criteria must be fulfilled in order for you to be eligible for the University of Twente Scholarship (UTS).
- Required Language: You fulfill the requirements of the general English language test. A speaking subscore of 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) with an academic IELTS score of 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT 90).
- All nations in the world are eligible.
- The University of Twente course enrollment application is not the same as the UT scholarship application. You must first get an admission letter regardless of finances.
- One of the qualified UT Master programs has accepted you (provisionally), and you will start in September of the next academic year.
- Please be aware that you may not receive your results for up to 8 weeks after completing your application.
- A student ID number is required.
- You must not have completed a UT (under)graduate program, meet the requirements for obtaining a Dutch entrance visa (if applicable), be ineligible for a Dutch study loan, and be an exceptional student in order to be eligible for the University Twente Scholarship. This usually means that you are among the top 5–10% of your class.
