The Indo-German Science & Technology Centre (IGSTC) launched the Women Involvement in Science and Engineering Research (WISER) program to assist female researchers in Germany and India. This program, which was created in partnership between the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) of the Government of Germany and the Department of Science & Technology (DST) of the Government of India, intends to close the gender gap in STEM fields by enabling female researchers to work together on ongoing R&D&I projects.
