The Saitama University MEXT Scholarship 2025 in Japan is now accepting applications. These MEXT Scholarships are open to all international students. We strongly urge those who wish to pursue a PhD in Japan with a fully funded scholarship to do so. IELTS or TOEFL scores are not required for this scholarship program.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Before enrolling, you should have or anticipate having a master’s degree.
- A person who is a citizen of a nation has diplomatic ties to Japan.
- Be younger than 35 on April 1st, 2025. (For example, born on April 2, 1990, or after)
- Have outstanding academic success.
- Maintain healthy physical and mental health.
- Be living outside of Japan at the time of application and not being a citizen of Japan.
- Be able to travel to Japan at the end of September 2025 on a date set by Saitama University.
- Has not received a Japanese Government Scholarship in the previous three years.
- Possess documentation attesting to your fluency in English.
