Student Financial Assistance for Master’s Programs
- The National Development Council provides NT$5,000 per semester to qualified master’s students.
Waivers of Fees
- For the first and second years, doctoral students are free from paying full tuition.
- For the first year, all foreign students are excused from paying tuition.

- Financial Proof (minimum NT$100,000 or US$3,500)

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must fulfill the following criteria in order to be eligible for the NCUT Scholarship:
All-around Eligibility
- Foreign Nationality: Candidates must be foreign nationals and not citizens of the Republic of the Congo.
- Residency Requirement: Before February 1, 2025, applicants must have lived abroad continuously for at least six years.
- No Prior Study in Taiwan: Chinese international students who have previously studied in Taiwan are not eligible for the grant.
Program-Related Conditions
- Master’s Programs: You must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
- Doctoral Programs: Candidates must possess a master’s degree or a comparable credential.
