Clifford University General Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission into Clifford University, you must meet the following general requirements:

  • You must have reached the age of 16 by the time of admission.
  • You must have at least five (5) credit passes in your O’level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) at not more than two sittings. These must include English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects for your chosen course of study.
  • You must meet Clifford University cut off mark of at least 130 or a Direct Entry qualification (OND, NCE, IJMB, Cambridge A level, BSc, HND, ICAN, etc.).

ACCOUNTING i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Mathematics and Geography. ii) OND in Accounting with Upper Credit in addition to the UTME Requirement iii) HND in Accounting or equivalent with at least Lower Credit in addition to the UTME Requirement iv) Final Certificate of recognized Professional bodies in addition to the UTME Requirements Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statistics ii) OND with Upper Credit in Business Administration or relevant disciplines in addition to the UTME Requirement iii) HND with at least Lower Credit in Business Administration or relevant disciplines in addition to the UTME Requirement iv) Final Certificate of recognized Professional bodies in addition to the UTME Requirements Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Government, Geography and Statistics. Five credit passes in English Language, Economics, Government, and a trade subject at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. POLITICAL SCIENCE Two ‘A’ level passes including Government or History. Five credit passes in Government or History, English Language and three other subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations and at least a pass in Mathematics. MASS COMMUNICATION Two ‘A’ level passes in Literature in English and one other arts subjects Five credit passes in English Language, one Science Subject, Mathematics and Literature in English at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations.
