Vice-Chancellor’s Doctoral Scholarships
In order to qualify for this award, candidates need to:
- Be submitting fresh applications for doctorates.
- Possess an unconditional offer of admission to a PhD program at AUT.
- Own a GPA of at least 8.0 from their most recent qualifying course at a university in New Zealand.
- Candidates from the Māori and Pacific region must be nationals or permanent residents of New Zealand and have a GPA of 7.5 or higher.
AUT Doctoral Scholarships
In order to be eligible, candidates must:
- possess a place offer from AUT for a doctorate program.
- Be prepared to begin their studies as soon as three months after being offered the grant.
Application Process:
- Prior to submitting a scholarship application, you must be accepted into an AUT PhD program. Apply early because the admissions process can take up to two months. You cannot be considered for the scholarship if you have not started the admissions procedure.
