EU Engagement Scholarships 2024-25 For International Students:
Applications are being accepted for the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK’s EU Engagement Scholarships, which will provide funding for full-time postgraduate taught course students in 2024–2025. The EU Engagement Postgraduate Scholarships will be available for master’s programs starting in January 2025. The tuition fee scholarships will be awarded to EU applicants who, as a result of Brexit, will now be deemed eligible for international fee status rather than Home (EU/Scottish) fee status. Those who meet the conditions for this UK prize will be offered postgraduate scholarships for EU engagement.
The EU Engagement Postgraduate Scholarships are open to applicants with almost any academic background because they span almost all subjects. Furthermore, there is no need for a different application procedure for the scholarship. A student will be immediately considered for the EU Engagement Scholarships Postgraduate Taught Courses at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow provided they fulfill the program’s qualifying standards. There is no cap on the number of postgraduate scholarships available for EU participation in 2024–2025. In addition, the scholarship has additional advantages. Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty:
- For full-time courses at the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, scholars will receive between £5,000 and £10,000.
- £10k for MSc International Relations, MSc Clinical Health Psychology, MSc Research Methods in Psychology, and LLM programmes (Law School).
- Additionally, students will get £5,000 for all other master’s degrees, with the exception of online and distance learning master’s programmes, modular programme costs, and Centre for Lifelong Learning programme fees.

- Students at the Strathclyde Business School will get £10,000 for all Human Resource Management (HRM) degrees.
- The Economics/Economics and Policy of Energy Climate Change scholars will receive nine thousand pounds.
- Students enrolled in studies in marketing, management science, entrepreneurship, economics and finance, and management (but not MBA) receive £11,000.
- The finance and accounting divisions will get £12,000.

- The Faculty of Engineering will award £8,000 to qualifying students from all EU countries enrolled in full-time courses.

Science Faculty:
- For full-time courses in the Faculty of Science, scholars will receive between £7,000 and £10,000.
- The cost of all full-time postgraduate taught master’s degrees in physics, pure and applied chemistry, and the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences is £8,000.
- All full-time postgraduate taught master’s degrees in the Departments of Computer & Information Sciences and Mathematics & Statistics cost £7,000 (not including the following).

- The EU Engagement Postgraduate Scholarships are open to EU applicants who, as a result of Brexit, will now be regarded as eligible for international fee status rather than Home (EU/Scottish) fee status.
- The candidates’ study applications will be automatically considered for funding if they meet the qualifying requirements of the scholarship.
- The scholarships will be given out automatically to EU nationals who are paying for their own education as well as any dependent family members.
- Applicants who are residents of the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland at the time of application are eligible to apply for the EU Engagement postgraduate scholarships for the taught courses.
- Applicants to the UK postgraduate scholarship program must be considered international students for the purposes of tuition fees.
- Additionally, students who plan to begin full-time undergraduate or graduate taught master’s degrees in 2024 are eligible to apply to this program.
- At the University of Strathclyde, scholarships are not awarded to students who fall into the Home or RUK tuition fee categories.
