Helmut Veith Stipend for Females in Computer Science 2025:
A notable computer scientist who worked in software engineering, computer security, computer-aided verification, and logic in computer science is honored with this fellowship. Up to his tragic death in March 2016, Helmut Veith was a passionate advocate and mentor for women in computer science.
Recipients of funding must show adequate development and reside in Austria for the duration of their studies. The Helmut Veith Stipend was founded thanks to the generous support of TU Wien, the Wolfgang Pauli Institute, and gifts from the family and friends of the late Helmut Veith. The winner of the Helmut Veith Stipend for Female in Computer Science receives the following advantages:

- EUR 7,000 each year for a maximum of two years.

Eligibility Criteria:
For the applicant to be eligible for the Helmut Veith Stipend, they must fulfill each of the requirements given below:
- The necessary language is English.
- Every country in the globe is qualified.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or mathematics, which is comparable to a bachelor’s degree from the first cycle.
- Funding will only be available to applicants who have been admitted to the master’s program without conditions.
- To enroll in one of TU Wien’s computer science master’s degree programs offered in English, candidates must meet the requirements.
- A deep understanding of and enthusiasm for (at least one of) Helmut Veith’s research fields:
- Verification and Formal Methods.
- Computer science logic.
- Artificial Intelligence Foundations.
- Cyber-security.
- Theory of Complexity.
