Financial Benefits:
The following benefits are awarded to the Linköping University International Scholarships Sweden recipient:
- Tuition for students who are awarded a LIU International Scholarship is reduced by 25, 50%, or 75%.
- The scholarship pays for all or a portion of the tuition. If the scholarship covers part of the tuition, the student has to pay the remaining amount before the due date.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for Linköping University International Scholarships Sweden, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- English is the required language.
- Appropriate Countries: Students from outside of Switzerland and the European Union/European Economic Area are eligible to apply for this master’s scholarship.
- Applicants for the master’s program at Linköping University
- You sent in your application before the admissions deadline, and
- The application and tuition fees are waived for students who are Ph.D. candidates, permanent residents of Sweden, citizens of the EU/EEA or Switzerland, and exchange students from any nation.
- Citizens of countries outside of the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland must apply for and pay tuition for higher education in Sweden.
Application Process:
Please take note of the following important details in order to qualify for this scholarship:
- Even if you are exempt from paying fees, you will still need to provide documentation confirming your citizenship and exemption from payments in order for your application to be approved.
- Out of the four possibilities, you prioritized enrolling in Linköping University’s master’s degree.
- You were accepted to your first choice when you initially learned of the election results.
- Students must give written notice to Linköping University if they are exempt from paying tuition.
