What are the Requirements for MOUAU Admission?

- Candidates must have Five O’ level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/ Agric. Science and any other Science subject in no more than two sittings Candidates with a credit in Agric. Science needs at least a pass in Biology
Agribusiness and Management
- Candidates must have Five O’ level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Econs, and any two of Biology or Agric Science, Agronomy, govt, Science, Govt, C.R.K, Geography in no more than two sittings
Biology Education
- Candidates must have Five O’level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics in no more than two sittings
Integrated Science Education
- Candidates must have Five O’level Credits in English Language, Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in no more than two sittings
Agricultural Science Education
- Candidates must have Five O’level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any relevant Science subject in no more than two sittings
Computer Science Education
- Candidates must have Five O’ level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other relevant subject in no more than two sittings
Home Economics Education
- Candidates must have Five O’level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and any of Physics, Clothing & Textile, Food and Nutrition, and Home Management in no more than two sittings Candidates with a credit in Agric. Science needs at least a pass in Biology
Entrepreneurial Studies
- Candidates must have Five O’level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two Subjects in no more than two sittings
Industrial Relations and Personnel Management
- Candidates must have Five O’level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two Subjects from Government/History, Commerce, Principles of Accounting, Geography, C.R.K., A gric. Science, Biology, Literature English, Igbo, Housa, Yoruba in no more than two sittings
Library and Information Science
- Candidates must have Five O’level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two Subjects in no more than two sittings
Direct Entry Admission Requirements
Candidates who wish to apply for direct entry admission into the above programmes must have relevant O’Level results and at least two A-Level passes, or NCE, OND OR HND in the following areas of study: Agricultural Science, Science Education, Geography, Forestry, Fisheries, Building Technology, Environmental Health, Surveying, Architecture, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Urban and Regional Planning, etc.
Duration of MOUAU Programmes
- Candidates with Ordinary Level Certificate, OND/ND at Lower Credit level, NCE at Merit/Credit levels need a minimum of six (6) years to complete the programme
- Candidates with OND/ND at the Upper Credit level, NCE at the Distinction level, and HND at Lower Credit Level need a minimum of five (5) years to complete the programme
- Candidates with HND at Upper Credit level need a minimum of four (4) years to complete the programme
- Candidates with O’Level qualifications need a minimum of five (5) years to complete the programme
- Candidates with OND at Upper Credit Level and HND, at Lower Credit in relevant areas, obtained from recognized institutions. At least three (3) years for candidates with HND at Upper Credit Level, and B.Sc. in related areas.
MOUAU Admission Requirements for Agribusiness Management
Post-UTME
To apply for this program, you need to have five O/level Credit passes in GCE ordinary level, SSCE, or NECO. You can take these exams in up to two sittings. The required subjects are: English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Biology (or Agriculture) and one more subject from the following list:
- Government/History
- Principles of Account
- Christian Religious Knowledge
- Geography
You can also combine two results from GCE O’level, SSCE, and NECO as long as you have at least five subjects.
Direct Entry
If you have GCE A/L passes or equivalent in Economics and one of these subjects, you can apply for direct entry:

- Accounting

You can also apply for direct entry if you have an OND with minimum of Upper Credit in Business Administration, Marketing, Agribusiness & Mgt., Accounting or a related field.
UTME Subjects
The subjects you need to take for the UTME are: English, Mathematics, Economics and one of these subjects:

- You will get an RRR number to make a 2000 Naira payment. Pay online or at a bank.
