Categories for Scholarships
Three different forms of financial aid are available through the Zhejiang Normal University (ZJNU) Scholarship:
- Type A: Complete payment of tuition (no monthly stipend).
- Type B: No monthly stipend; just half of the tuition is covered.
- Type C: 4500 RMB to cover the cost of education.

Candidates need to submit the following:

Eligibility Criteria:
Fundamental Requirements:
- Candidates for undergraduate programs must be under thirty years old and have completed high school.
- Applicants for master’s programs must have a bachelor’s degree, be under 35, and submit two letters of recommendation from instructors or associate instructors.
- Candidates for doctorates must have a master’s degree, be under 40 years old, and provide two letters of recommendation from associate or professors.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must be foreign nationals in good health and possess valid passports.
- Respect for the law and university policies is required.
- Depending on which language is used for instruction in the program, language proficiency may be needed. For programs taught in Chinese, applicants must provide an HSK certificate; for programs taught in English, they must submit credentials from the IELTS, TOEFL, or GRE.
- Candidates are not permitted to hold more than one scholarship at once.
